L’Écho des Hauts is a fictional news outlet. This site is a technical demonstrator: its editorial line, its articles, its journalists and the events it reports are invented. Nothing published here reports real facts, and this site is in no way an online press service.
What this site demonstrates
This site is a technical demonstrator: a local editorial magazine built on a Strapi 5 back office and a fully static Astro front end. It shows a complete publishing chain — content modelling, build-time rendering, internationalisation, performance and accessibility — on a corpus that looks like a real news outlet rather than on empty demo pages.
What the corpus contains
Forty articles across six sections, five bylines, twenty tags and two long-running series, eight of which are translated into English. The territory, the figures, the characters and the events are invented from end to end: they are consistent with one another, but refer to no real town, company or person.
How it is built
Pages are generated at build time: no server runs when a page is read, and no page ships JavaScript to the browser, except for search. Switching between French and English is done with links computed at build time, never with a script.
